July 21, 2020 Theme: What Affected your Life Choices?

Toasmaster of the night Cherry said: "My decision to become a member of Toastmasters which was a catalyst to change my life.  The choices we make always affect someone; in my case it took away a lot of my family time to achieve my DTM.  And I knew that  'The Choices We Make always Have Consequences.' "

 

We held our first business meeting lead by Bonnie W,  2 speakers and 3 table topics. 

1st speaker Edith B  reflected on how she chose the career she did, some high points of it and the preparations needed for our changing world. Title: Who wuld have thought.

2nd Speaker Dan M. shared  how his personality affected his professional career.  Speech entitled, 'The Perceiver in Me'

Speech evaluators: Xiao and Estella M, Table Topics Master Eileen S and Table Topic Evaluator Rick L 

3 table topic speakers were: Melanie K, Bonnie W and Xiao X.  Our members couldn't decide  if  Bonnie or Xiao should win, so it was a tie.   

We held a Round Robin General Evaluation and each member had their chances to voice at least 1 point of improvement for future zoom meetings.  Our guest Debbie joined our zoom meeting, and Debbie was invited to return to our next meeting August 4 at 7:00pm, same zoom link
